Techno-economic feasibility study on the application of downdraft gasifier in small-scale red clay bricks industries

چکیده

Direct firing of biomass in conventional clay brick manufacturing process aggravates deforestation, climatic change, poor economic benefits to rural industries, and health issues the public. To overcome such drawbacks, adaptation eco-friendly energy sources, implementation advanced technologies conversion systems systematic studies on are mainly focused recent times. The utilization biomasses through various gasification can improve efficiency advantages production. successfully introduce renewable new areas, a number research have experimented also succeeded predicting technical feasibility cost benefits. Likewise, this paper reports techno-economic analysis producer gas (PG) fired kilns using pertinent parameters evaluation involved bricks. In study, common available region were effectively used produce PG. Besides finding aspects bricks produced method, needed for study found from prototype experimental study. use agriculture forestry as Coconut Shell (CS), Rice Husk (RH), Rubber Wood (RW) seed kernel shell (RSKS) industries capacity twenty one hundred thousand per batch predicted. revealed that quality proposed method could meet ASTM standards. savings running system led 4–8 years payback period. maximum internal rate return was which had RSKS feedstock.
